Optimal Control of Dengue Transmission with Vaccination

چکیده

Dengue disease is caused by four serotypes of the dengue virus: DEN-1, DEN-2, DEN-3, and DEN-4. The chimeric yellow fever tetravalent vaccine (CYD-TDV) a currently used in Thailand. This research investigates what optimal control when only individuals having documented past infection history are vaccinated. present practice Thailand latest recommendation WHO. model Susceptible-Infected-Recovered (SIR) series configuration for human population Susceptible-Infected (SI) vector population. Both dynamical models two populations were recast as problems with parameters. analysis showed that equilibrium states locally asymptotically stable. numerical solution systems conclusions presented.

Optimal control of a dengue epidemic model with vaccination

We present a SIR+ASI epidemic model to describe the interaction between human and dengue fever mosquito populations. A control strategy in the form of vaccination, to decrease the number of infected individuals, is used. An optimal control approach is applied in order to find the best way to fight the disease.

Vaccination models and optimal control strategies to dengue.

As the development of a dengue vaccine is ongoing, we simulate an hypothetical vaccine as an extra protection to the population. In a first phase, the vaccination process is studied as a new compartment in the model, and different ways of distributing the vaccines investigated: pediatric and random mass vaccines, with distinct levels of efficacy and durability. In a second step, the vaccination...

A Model of Perfect Pediatric Vaccination of Dengue with Delay and Optimal Control

A delayed mathematical model of Dengue dynamical transmission between vector mosquitoes and human, incorporating a control strategy of perfect pediatric vaccination is proposed in this paper. By some analytical skills, we obtain the existence of disease-free equilibria and endemic equilibrium, the necessary conditions of global asymptotical stability about two disease-free equilibria. Further, ...

Mathematical Model for Transmission Dynamics of Hepatitus C Virus with Optimal Control Strategies

An epidemic model with optimal control strategies was investigated for Hepatitus C Viral disease that can be transmitted through infected individuals. In this study, we used a deterministic compartmental model for assessing the effect of different optimal control strategies for controlling the spread of Hepatitus C disease in the community. Stability theory of differential equations is us...

Cost-effectiveness of dengue vaccination in Yucatán, Mexico using a dynamic dengue transmission model

BACKGROUND The incidence of dengue fever (DF) is steadily increasing in Mexico, burdening health systems with consequent morbidities and mortalities. On December 9th, 2015, Mexico became the first country for which the dengue vaccine was approved for use. In anticipation of a vaccine rollout, analysis of the cost-effectiveness of the dengue vaccination program that quantifies the dynamics of di...
